1967 (Dec 19) Pictorial illustrated envelope of two Birds on a tree branch together with original letters to Viet Cong soldier with 22md Artillery Company, North Vietnamese Army who was later captured & with typed up Preliminary Evaluation Document completed in pencil pinned to Document Processing Slip showing he was captured 22 Aug 1968, the envelope probably being carried by military courier to the front as many letters were & with poor cds presumably of Hanoi bearing adhesives which have been mutilated possibly by the US authorities when he was captured ………………………This Viet Cong soldier captured 22 August 1968 by the third U.S. Marine Corps Division during operation “Lancaster 11”
