The Korean war fighting ended on 27 July 1953 & a demilitarised zone was effected but as no peace treaty has ever been signed in law they are still at war with tensions & incursions by both sides into each others territory sometimes resulting in squabbles & fire fights continuing occasionally resulting in casualties and even deaths. .
