1980 longer International Committee of the Red Cross, Bangkok printed envelope to Lutzenburg bearing single Rama IX definitive 10 baht tied parial Anaranyappathet cds & with German Red Cross /Field Hospital /Khao I Dang plus circular Comite International de la Croix Rouge /Geneva hand stamps both in red …………In late 1978 Viet Nam forces invaded Cambodia & by May 1979 the remnants of the Cambodian forces were mostly bottled up in the forests hills of S.W. Canbodia close to the Thai border at Sa Kaeo. By October ’79 after the rains finished Vietnanese tanks & armour were again mobile & thousands of sick & starving Cambodian civilians began flooding into Thailand for safety. The Thai military forces were mobilised in case of Vietnamese invasion and emergency refugee camps & hospitals were set up in the border areas of Anarayappathet & other small border towns in Sa Kaeo area….mail is not easily found
