Squared circle alongside with on back Hobart /Tasmania (5 Oct) transit + bellerive/Tasmania (6 Oct) arrival cds ………………The 2nd Tasmanian Bushmen comprising 49 men plus 3 Officers sailed 5 Mar 1900 on the Artillian arriving Beira 31 March & served initially under General Carrington;s Rhodesian Field Force before returning to Australia 19 May 1901….Despite trim of approx. 15mm to left side of cover & odd fox spots mail from this unit during this early period is exceptionally rare
