1936 (Sep 26) Longer Babcock & Wilcox Ltd., printed envelope by airmail to company office in Regents Park NSW with signs of scorching bearing combination of GV pair 6d + GV Photogravure pair 1½d all with perforated indents & making 1/3 rate tied London cds & with unframed Salvaged From Air Liner /Athena hand stamp & with on back Regents Park /NSW (8 Oct) arrival cds………………. The airliner operating the Karachi – Singapore sector of Imperial Airways service to Australia caught fire at Delhi on 29 Sept when the engines were started. The crew & all passengers safely deboarded the aircraft but much of the mail was destroyed with the remainer being damaged
