Is he saying the date stamp was lost prior to landing in Greece or does he mean a landing took place afer March i.e. April ? A question to be answered but in any event mail from allied forces during the Greek campaign of 1941 is very scarce DIV. SUPPLY HQ / S.W.1. Proud records this used in Egypt to (10.3.41) so possibly this extends that date or was it used aboard Transport & did not land due to Allied retreat.
