Berger, who is en-route Sub Area H.Q., c/o APS, Dire Daua, East African Force via Nairobi… The British & Allied forces in the campaign against Italian forces in Ethiopia entered the country on 20 January 1941 against resistance yet after the battle of Gondar in November the Italians were defeated with full Military Occupation being established 21 Nov 1941..Although no postal marking are present on this item it demonstrates the use of Colonial troops in this campaign.
