Aust (19 Feb) transit cds ………………. By the time this envelope left Rockhampton in early 1945 the 25th were involved in the Bourgainville Campaign in action at Pearl Ridge & Slater’s Knoll against the Japanese where Cpl. Reg Rattey was awarded a Victoria Cross for heroic action
