Birds 15c & 20c plus Queen Wilhelmina 40c, 45c & 55c overprinted UNTEA & tied Hollandia/7 cds ………………………………..United Nations Temporary Executive Authority (U.N.T.E.A.) was the result of a dispute between the recent Independent Indonesia & the Netherlands where Indonesia claimed the territory while the Dutch claimed the residents were not Indonesian. In December 1961 Indonesia landed paratroops that ultimately led to the establishment of U.N.T.E.A. in October 1962 that lasted until 1 May 1963.
